camera shopping..

yes.. finally, an update!

Have been missing for quite awhile now. Sorry to all who drops by from time to time.

There's plenty to update so bear with me. It'll come, just not now.
Have to compile all of it first.

In the meantime, I need opinions/suggestions.
I'm in the mood for a new camera but not just any camera.
Not quite into a DSLR due to its crazy big size, but also not into just any random compacts.

Considering:
(i) Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZR1

(ii) Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ7

(iii) Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX65

The price for the last option is almost the same as the first, but with lower optical zoom (I think). Its still under consideration because it really looks good..sleek!

All things aside, what do you professionals think?
e-mail me, msn, leave a comment, ..... anything.

TIA! =)

Mean..

Meet the girl who needs a seat for her bag...
If the bus is not busy, fine, leaving your bag there is acceptable.
But if someone comes up, wanting to sit there, it's common courtesy to
move the bag to your lap and let him/her have the seat.
Is it not??

But noooo, not only did she not bother moving her bag, she told the
lady that she needs the chair. WTH??!!

There may have been other seats available but she came up the bus with
a laptop bag, bus started moving, she started losing her balance,
isn't it a normal gesture to offer her the seat instead of your bag,
which obviously doesn't need it?

Some people are either brainless or selfish!!

***UPDATE:
Owh, she was saving the seat for a friend of her's. But it still does
not justify her actions.

She was 10-15min away from her friend's stop. N the distance from the
friend's stop to where they got off was just 2min away!!

See.. There are still some uncivilized people around.

I wasn't selected and neither did Shawn.
Jon.. its your choice !!
We have laid out all the options for you.
You've got at least 4 years to make your mind up anyways.

i hate packing !!

I really do.
I can never know what to pack, which to pack, or how many to pack.
I know I am going to shop but how much am I going to buy?
and if I don't shop, I'll be so short on clothes if I don't bring enough.

Can I just bring along my whole wardrobe and shop for more?

Josie..

...that was his nickname when he was a baby. Now we just call him
Joshua.

He is probably one of the most thoughtful, sweetest, expressive person
in the Wong family. But he is also the one whom is picked on the most
for being the youngest. Teased about being the spoil brat and having
chinky eyes. Haha.

When people ask me which brother I prefer or which I'm closest to, I
always pick Jon. But that's only because I've spent the most time with
him having grown up together. But if I were to describe Jon in one

sentence, it'll be annoying but he can be nice only if he wants to.
Josh on the other hand, is just plain, simple, and nice.

He did not realise I was taking this photo of him.

Knowing how much I dislike peeling my own food, he actually peeled it and gave it to me.

It was sweet but I felt bad so I didn't take it. I was watching him from the corner of my eye during dinner since he was sort of wrestling with the prawn initially before going "nah..for you" holding the prawn out in front of him.

lol. you'll only get this sort of gesture from Josh. The day Jon does it, it will be when pigs would really fly.

Patience is a virtue..

.... and lately, I realise that I have been lacking in that department quite a bit.
Had to keep making a conscious effort to remind myself to hold my tongue when it comes to the parents.
But when it comes to Shawn, it's a whole different story.

Maybe blame it on the illness.
Or maybe blame it on something else.
But at the end of the day, you've got no one else but yourself to blame.

I'm sorry, darling.
As usual, you've always been nothing but patient with me. But you do come up with the dumbest things to say at the wrong time.

They don't consider 'patience' one of the "9 fruits of the spirit" for nothing. You really have to put in the extra effort especially when you feel under the weather.
But maybe some people are just born with it?
