first love..

sometimes, watching a video such as this, makes me wonder how I ever came up with the decision to quit ballet..
Ok.. I admit that I was never able to dance as well as her.
But I have danced for 10years and it was one of the few things that I actually loved doing.
The one class that I actually look forward to every single week.

*people who know me well enough would know how much I hate classes in general*

From the cap-sleeved pre-primary white leotards with white skirt, coupled with the "baby" ballet slippers, to the black spaghetti-strap leotards with thights and pointe shoes.
Oh, not forgetting the black character skirts and shoes !

10 years of ballet and I stopped.

I would say it is a waste and I do regret making that decision even up till today. But I'm sure, there was a reason that made me come up with that decision at that point of time. Although I can't quite come up with it now, but as one blogger said "learn from the mistakes, don't live in regret and just don't repeat it".

I still get goosebumps each time I watch a ballet video.. I may not be able to do the RAD syllabus anymore, but I sure can go for some casual adult ballet classes. :)

...when I have the extra cash to spare or the guts to do it again.

Autumn no more..

A misty/foggy Sunday morning.
With temperatures at a high of 19 degrees and a low of 8 degrees.

No, it wasn't raining nor did it rain.
The droplets of water on the windscreen was caused by Shawn who hosed
down the car to clear the "chilled" overnight screens and mirrors.

That's the last of autumn for you.
As of tomorrow, it is officially winter.

Jade Kingdom - Pancake Palour

Just got back from dinner and dessert not too long ago.

It was mainly a family dinner with relatives from Kuching and my cousins, whom are staying in Melbourne as well.

Food was good as always. Jade Kingdom never fails for some good ol' Malaysian "tai chao" style food. I just wish they'll make the place seem more spacious as it can get really noisy from all the LOUD conversations going around. err.. but I do think that it is kind of similar to a normal coffee shop atmosphere back in Malaysia?

No pics since I was too lazy. Did think about it but totally forgotten.

This on the other hand, is what we almost had for dessert at Pancake Parlour.

But they told us the banana wasn't ripe enough yet so they were not going to use it.
So at the end, we ended up with just a regular stack with Buttered Walnuts.
2 servings of it actually since there were 4 of us monkeys.

Then went through Maccas' drive-through for 3 soft serve corns for the other 3 monkeys (excluding myself).
I was too full after the pancakes.
Crazy people with a bottomless pit !!
But the ice-creams were only $0.50 each, so I guess it's ok to have a little extra room for it? :S

*sigh*

the urge to do something other than studying during exam period is always stronger compared to any other time. WHY??!!
God help me ...

Sorry about the highly non-creative title. Brain dead!!

Blog has been left idle for some time. Can't say that it's not my fault.
Assignments are all done with but finals is looming closer and closer.

I'm feeling so darn sleepy now. Work tomorrow at 8am! But I have to
help the bf with his assignment first since he'll be the one fetching
me tomorrow morning.

Looks like he's my personal driver. I really appreciate him for that.
Work till late but still have to wake up early just to send me to Uni
or work without even complaining.
Haaiz. What have I ever done to deserve you, I do not know.
